LOTS GOING ON THIS WEEKEND:
The USPA Umpire Certification Clinic starts this Friday. We are ALSO having a Rules, Interpretations and Implementations Clinic from 12noon to 3pm, please make plans to attend. This portion is abbreviated for those NOT seeking Umpire Certification and it is designed to bring everyone up to speed on the rules of play and how a USPA Umpire WILL interpret them. We all can use a bit of a refresher on rules as many of our recent games have seen a higher than average amount of fouls that slow the games. Please see the attached flyer for signup info.
We will be having a series match games on Friday and Sunday as opposed to a knock out tournament with the focus being accommodating the Umpire Certification Clinic & Rules Interpretation and Implementation. Individuals taking the Umpire Clinic will be assuming the umpire duties of each game to be observed and potentially certified. Please sign up by end of day today as a team, pair or individually and I will get a schedule out as soon as possible.
