History
Since joining the United States Polo Association in 1973, Willow Bend Polo Club has provided the thrilling and dynamic sport of polo to players and spectators alike. Although originally located in Plano, Texas on what is now the busy north east corner of the intersection of Park Boulevard and the Dallas North Tollway, in 1996 we relocated our Club to our current location just 18 miles northwest in the lakeside community of Oak Point, Texas. Come join us for the experience as a beginner, seasoned player or to enjoy the thrill as a spectator.
275 Acres
Facilities
Strategically located on 275 acres of sandy soil in a pastoral setting our facilities include 2 outdoor polo fields, a spectator and player pavilions, 1 mile exercise track, riding arena and stabling for over 60 horses with many additional pens and pastures. We also have a hitting cage for our members and guests to practice their swing and eye hand coordination.

Historically referred to as the “Sport of Kings”, polo is known for it’s fast pace and thrilling maneuvers of athletes on horseback. The beauty and elegance of the horses thundering down the field and the power and panache of those who play and enjoy the sport are right here in north Texas, come and enjoy the polo way of life.
