Willow Bend Polo Club offers a unique and fun program enabling people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to learn to play the sport of polo. Individuals who have never played (or ridden) can learn everything necessary to participate in a match, all horses and equipment provided. Students will learn basic horsemanship, swing mechanics, game strategy, rules of the game, hitting cage practice and most importantly – have fun!
Group and private lessons are available, your preference.

About the instructor-Scott Lancaster: Scott is a former professional polo player / manager / instructor with 30+ years’ experience and comes to Willow Bend after spending the last ten years managing both the St. Louis and Sarasota Polo Clubs polo school programs. Scott spent 15+ years in DFW from the late 1990s through the mid-2000s. He is responsible for introducing many of the players now playing in competitive polo in the area to the sport and we are excited to have Scott back in the DFW area!

Want a fun way to engage with your corporate clients, friends or peers? Why plan another boring hotel meeting when you can host your next corporate event learning the great sport of polo? A polo clinic at the Willow Bend Polo Club provides clients and/or peers with a truly unique, unforgettable experience. Come out for a 2-hour emersion into the Polo Way of Life where we will put you and your teammates on a safe horse in an arena, swing a full sized polo mallet in our hitting cage, hear an A to Z polo informational with Q & A and learn some basic rules and regulations with an interactive experience on the polo field with your teammates. Participants will leave with a polo ball, t-shirt and an experience that will be the envy of their corporate peers! We provide horses and equipment, cost is $200.00 per participant, groups of 4 to 12 accepted, please contact scott@willowbendpoloclub.com to schedule your event.
