Congratulations to our 2017 USPA Club Award Recipients!
Each year the USPA offers four awards for excellence in the following fields to be awarded annually at each USPA Club.
The 2017 Winners from the Willow Bend Polo Club are as follows:
Don Stemaly
Clint Nangle Equine Welfare Award
Awarded to an individual who exemplifies excellence in the field of equine welfare.
Jose ‘Chito’ Torres
Owen O’Hanlon Best Groom Award
Awarded to the best groom, based on dedication, ability and knowledge.
Kristin Armbruster
Dr. Billy Linfoot Most Improved Player Award
Awarded to the most improved player for the year.
Spicy – owned and played by Hector Galindo
Club Best Pony of the Year
Awarded to an exceptional pony at your club (playing, lessons, etc)
Each of these recipients will receive a certificate award as well as be recognized in the 2018 USPA Blue Book.
